Terms of Service
Last updated: April 6, 2026
1. Agreement
By using Doable ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Doable is operated by Doable Ltd ("we", "us").
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One person or entity per account. Shared or bot-operated accounts are not permitted without prior approval.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Doable to deploy lawful applications. You may not use the Service to:
- Host content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
- Run cryptocurrency miners, open proxies, or relay services
- Send spam, phishing, or bulk unsolicited communications
- Attempt to access other users' data or deployments
- Circumvent plan limits or quotas through technical means
- Resell the Service without written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Service plans and billing
The free tier (Bring Your Own Server) has no charges. Paid plans (Starter, Pro) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.
5. Domain registration
Doable does not register domains itself. When you click “Get a domain” or use doable domain buy, we redirect you to Namecheap via an affiliate link. Namecheap is the registrar of record; you are the registrant. Your purchase, billing, and renewal are handled by Namecheap directly. After registration, use Connect Domain (or doable domain connect) to point the domain at your project — Doable then manages the DNS records and TLS certificate for that hostname. Doable receives a referral commission from Namecheap on first-year purchases at no additional cost to you.
Domains purchased through Doable’s legacy in-app flow (prior to May 2026, via Porkbun) continue to function and renew through Porkbun. You can transfer those domains away at any time by requesting an auth code from support.
6. Bring Your Own Server
When you install the Doable agent on your own server, you are responsible for the security and maintenance of that server. Doable is not liable for data loss, downtime, or security incidents on infrastructure you operate. The agent requires Docker and outbound internet access to function.
7. Your content and deployments
7.1 Ownership. You retain ownership of all code, data, and content you deploy through Doable. We do not claim any rights to your content. We access your deployments only to provide the Service, enforce these terms, or respond to legal requirements.
7.2 Rights and warranties. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to deploy and operate the code on Doable's infrastructure, including the right to reproduce, host, and serve any third-party software, libraries, fonts, images, or other materials embedded in your deployment. You are solely responsible for complying with the licenses (open-source or otherwise) of any code your deployment includes.
7.3 Preview claim acknowledgement. When you claim a Preview Deployment that contains code you did not author, the same representations in 7.2 apply at the moment of claim. The "Confirm claim" step in the dashboard is your express, recorded acceptance of these terms with respect to that specific deployment. We log the acceptance, the source repository URL, and any detected license for our records.
7.4 Indemnification. You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Doable, its officers, employees, and contractors from any third-party claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from a violation of 7.2 or 7.3, your deployment's use of third-party IP, or any content you cause Doable to host.
7.5 Copyright complaints (DMCA). If you believe content hosted on Doable infringes your copyright, send a notice meeting the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to hello [at] doable.do. We respond to verified notices and terminate repeat infringers.
8. Uptime and availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee specific uptime. The Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or any damages resulting from use of the Service. We will notify you of planned maintenance when possible.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doable's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
